Hide KL provided a truly delightful dining experience that I had the pleasure of enjoying recently. The ambiance is warm and intimate, with a modern yet cozy atmosphere that makes you feel right at home. The decor is tastefully done, featuring soft lighting, elegant wooden accents, and lush greenery that adds a refreshing touch to the space. It’s the kind of setting that feels perfect for a quiet dinner or a special celebration. The service was exceptional, with the staff being incredibly attentive and courteous throughout the meal. They were knowledgeable about the menu and took the time to explain the dishes, which made the experience even more enjoyable. The cuisine was outstanding, offering a creative take on modern fusion flavors with a focus on fresh, high-quality ingredients. I particularly enjoyed the seafood dishes, which were perfectly cooked and paired with vibrant sauces that highlighted the natural flavors. The desserts were equally impressive, with a beautiful balance of sweetness and texture that left a lasting impression. Hide KL is a wonderful choice for anyone seeking a refined yet approachable dining experience. I would highly recommend making a reservation in advance, as the space is quite intimate and can fill up quickly. I’m already looking forward to my next visit to this charming restaurant!
The food was superb — we had a total of 11 courses at RM650+ per pax, and you could really taste the heart and effort put into every dish. Service was excellent from start to finish. Truly one of the best dining experiences I’ve had. Highly recommended!
It’s my fault , I waze to Ritz Carlton. It’s actually located at Ritz Residence lol ! We came here to celebrate my gfs birthday , just three ladies . We add on not a bread which tasted interesting and lovely . Overall we enjoyed our meal here . We paid rm2,200++ for 3 pax due to alcohols .
Seems like there’s mixed reviews but expected when it comes at a RM650++ per pax price tag, also I think dependent on the menu. My first time here and I really like the menu. It’s not an European, Japanese or entirely local skewed cuisine but abit of everything. If I don’t think too much of it (i.e. trying to pinpoint a single flavor or trying to decipher what cuisine it is) the menu is a harmony of flavours. Service is friendly and I like the 13-seater small cosy seating.
HIDE offers a polished dining experience with seamless service, elevated by CY’s exceptional hospitality. Her expertise was evident, even before I learned about her Michelin Sommelier Award—if only I had known earlier, I would have sought more of her wine recommendations. As for the food, while the execution was refined and the ingredients of high quality, the flavors lacked a distinct identity. Each dish was well-prepared, but nothing truly stood out in terms of taste. The menu felt safe, relying more on technical precision than bold or innovative flavor combinations. For a restaurant that is part of the Michelin’s guide, I had hoped for a more memorable and inspired culinary journey. However, what somehow set the experience apart was the level of personalisation. From the custom place card to the thoughtful Polaroid memento, these small but meaningful touches added a sense of warmth and exclusivity, making the evening feel intimate and special.
I love how the menu listed down all the courses, so you know roughly what’s being served. I enjoyed the food here.. taste, texture, appearance and service is great! I truly enjoyed all courses (rm650+ per person). Keep up the good work Hide team :) Will not hesitate to go back when you have new menu.
From the service to decor, the dining experience at Hide manages to be both warm and inviting as well as clean and modern. I also appreciate the quiet confidence in the menu. Dishes may appear to be simple but are quite complex, incorporating techniques and flavors from other cuisines and food cultures. That being said, every dish was wholesomely enjoyable as opposed to just intellectually interesting. A real gem!
